No plan gets built before we talk. I learn about your goals, your schedule, your training history, your pain areas, and your real life. From there, I build a custom program — strength work, conditioning, and habits — designed around your situation, not a template.
We connect over video call regularly — 3, 6, or 10 times a month depending on your plan — with messaging support in between. Each check-in we look at what's working and what isn't, then I adjust. Bad week? We talk about why and what to change. Plateau? We change the stimulus. Your plan never goes stale.
Every conversation teaches you the why behind the what. Over time, you stop needing me to tell you what to do — you start knowing it. That's the goal across every plan: walk away with the knowledge, confidence, and habits to manage your own health for the rest of your life.

I'm Ethan Ranger, the coach behind More Motion. My background is built on a lifetime in athletics. I played college hockey at the University of Delaware and Iowa State University, then took my game overseas to play semi-professionally in Poland. Living the athlete's life taught me what training, recovery, and adaptability really require — and how much the body can change when you treat it right.
After hanging up the skates, I earned my Bachelor's in Kinesiology with a focus on Exercise Science from Iowa State University — because I wanted to understand the science behind everything I'd been doing for years, and put it to work for other people.
I started More Motion because I was tired of watching people get burned by coaches who claimed to care about their health but really just cared about the next payment. We've got an obesity and inactivity problem that's making people physically and mentally worse off. One of the realest ways to fight it is to help people become genuinely independent with their health — one client at a time. That's the whole mission.
